2. What this website does not do
This website sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. It loads no fonts, scripts, maps, videos or other content from third-party servers. It measures no reach in the browser and embeds no web analytics tools. There is no contact form. That is why we do not ask you for consent: there is nothing to consent to.
3. Visiting the site and server log files
For your browser to load a page, it sends us your IP address. Our server records every request in a log: IP address, date and time, the address requested, the details your browser sends along (such as browser and operating system, language and the page you came from), the status of the response and the volume transferred. We use the log to operate the website, find errors and fend off attacks.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is secure and faultless operation. This data is not merged with other data and is not used to identify you.
Retention period: we delete the log after seven days; it is gone from the server's backup copies after 14 days at the latest. Providing your IP address is neither a legal nor a contractual requirement, but without it your browser cannot load this website.
4. Hosting
This website is hosted by a service provider who processes the data on our behalf. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place.
Provider: Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. Server location: Nuremberg, Germany. We operate the server ourselves; the provider supplies the machine and processes data only on our behalf.
5. Contact by email
If you write to us, we process your details solely in order to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where a contract is being initiated, and otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
We retain business correspondence for as long as it is needed and beyond that where commercial and tax retention obligations apply.
6. Disclosure to third parties
Your data is not passed on, except to our host under the data processing agreement or where we are legally obliged to do so. Your data is not transferred to countries outside the European Union.
7. Your rights
You have the right to information about the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16), to erasure (Art. 17), to restriction of processing (Art. 18), to data portability (Art. 20) and the right to object to processing (Art. 21). Please contact the address given above.
8. Right to lodge a complaint
You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent authority for us is:
