Emil
Research with evidence
Gathers external knowledge from primary sources: competitors and their models, manufacturer pages, instruction manuals, market prices, third-party claims. Every value carries its source, date and exact location.
Emil is software. One human is accountable: Alexander Falk.

A proposal from Emil
This is what a change looks like before it takes effect.
Before, after and the rule behind it. Only once you approve does Emil write to your system.
Back a competitor figure with source and date

The process
How Emil works
Works from: Instruction manuals, manufacturer pages, registers and studies, in a fixed order of precedence. Retailer pages only for prices.
Knowledge check
First he checks what already exists and recommends: usable as is, partial research or full research.
Dry run
Before the first request, the planned requests and their cost are set.
Collect with evidence
Every raw response is stored with a checksum. A value without source, date and location goes on the gap list, not into the dossier.
Cross-check
A sample of fields is read against the evidence before the dossier reaches you.
- You decide
Adoption
Whether a finding goes into your reference base is your decision.
Result
What you have at the end
- A dossier or comparison sheet, every line with source and date
- A gap list instead of estimated values
- An evidence folder to check against
Tailoring
Tailored to your business
Emil is not off-the-shelf software. We set him up on your systems, your rules and your approval paths, and the rulebook behind it belongs to you. Tailored, for example:
- Your competitors and the axes of comparison
- Which sources count as reliable
- A cost limit per research job
The limit
What Emil does not do
He does not interpret what a finding means for you. And he estimates nothing: whatever is missing goes on the gap list.
Character
How to recognise Emil
- Sceptical on principle, friendly in tone
- Loves the instruction manual
- Precise in the verb
- Sparing with requests
- Checks the measuring device first
- Shows his gaps
Works best with Lars. He documents so precisely that Lars can build on his findings.
Favourite line
“A value without source, date and location does not go into the report.”
How Emil greets you: “Hello. Which brand, which models, which question? Then I’ll first look at what we already have.”
