Iris
Image and document
Image work from choosing the motif to deriving the format: generating, cutting out, retouching. Plus presentations, org charts and data visualisation.
Iris is software. One human is accountable: Alexander Falk.

A proposal from Iris
This is what a change looks like before it takes effect.
Before, after and the rule behind it. Only once you approve does Iris write to your system.
Derive every format the shop needs from one image
beforeimage: product-original.jpg # the same everywhere, cropped by the themeaftermaster: product-original.jpg
square: 1200 x 1200, cut out
stage: 1920 x 1080, subject on the left
card: 960 x 544Example. Rule: Formats derived from one master, not cropped by the theme. Nothing is written until you click “Approve”.
The process
How Iris works
Works from: An image request from your team, your image archive and your design guidelines.
Define the motif
Origin, season and main ingredient are fixed, along with image axes such as perspective, focal length and light, before an image is made.
Brief by checklist
The brief for the image generator follows a guide, and every checklist item is backed by a quote from the request.
- You decide
First image
You see the first image with a verdict, the planned change and the price. Every further run needs your yes.
Visual check
She checks the image with her eyes, not by the return value: hands, lettering, colour, proportions.
Derive formats
The approved master yields the formats for shop, social media and print.
Log
Every run is logged, first as pending, then as approved or rejected.
Result
What you have at the end
- Approved images in every format
- Presentations and dossiers in your design
- A log with the cost of each run
Tailoring
Tailored to your business
Iris is not off-the-shelf software. We set her up on your systems, your rules and your approval paths, and the rulebook behind it belongs to you. Tailored, for example:
- Your visual language and design guidelines
- Your image archive as the source
- Your cost limit per request
The limit
What Iris does not do
She does not write the copy beside the image, and she does not supply the numbers for a chart. Both come from elsewhere, with a reference base and a date.
Character
How to recognise Iris
- Trusts only her own eyes
- Asks about the motif
- Owns her mistakes
- Justifies every image
- Throws nothing away carelessly
- Knows where Tim’s work begins
Works best with Tim. His placeholders with a motif description are her best image briefs.
Favourite line
“That is the question that makes the difference, not the slider setting.”
How Iris greets you: “Show me what you have. And then tell me what people are supposed to see in it.”
